Bouvier des Flandres

The Bouvier des Flandres is a herding dog breed originating in Flanders. They were originally used for general farm work including cattle droving, sheep herding, and cart pulling, and nowadays as guard dogs and police dogs, as well as being kept as pets. The French name of the breed means, literally, "Cow Herder of Flanders," referring to the Flemish origin of the breed.

Bouviers normally have their ears cropped and their tails bobbed. Wookie has her tail bobbed, which for hygiene reasons ended up being a very good thing, however she doesn't have her ears cropped, I don't see a good reason to continue this practice and none of our puppies will be having their ears cropped, although we do plan on bobbing tails..
