Norwegian

The Norwegian Forest Cat is a breed of domestic cat native to Northern Europe, and adapted to a very cold climate. In Norway they are known as skogkatter literally, Norwegian Forest Cat. The breed is very old, and occurred as a natural adaptation to the cold climate of the region, but it was not regarded as anything other than a standard house-cat until the late 1930s, when a small number of 'Skaukatts' were shown in Germany and were received very favorably by the judges.
Tormodkot Siberian/Norwegian Cattery

We raise Siberian and Norwegian Forest Cats...providing strong, beautiful kittens for pet and show. Our breeders are imported with extensive championship pedigrees. Siberian colors include blue and black tabbies; lynx color points in seal, blue and flame; silver with and without white; reds and creams as well as calico. Norwegian colors are black smoke with and without white, black/brown tabbies with white.   I breed for strong heads with closeness to show quality standards as well as for excellent temperment.
