Border Collie

The Border Collie is a dog breed, often cited as the most intelligent of all dogs. Highly energetic, they are used on farms to assist with the herding of livestock and are also companion animals. Many of the best Border Collies today can be traced back to a dog known as Old Hemp. Old Hemp, a tri-color dog, 1893 to 1901. Many shepherds used him for stud and Hemp's working style became the Border Collie style.
