Tibetan Mastiff
The Tibetan Mastiff (Do-khyi) is an ancient breed and type of domestic dog originating
with nomadic cultures of Central Asia. The Tibetan Mastiff is considered a primitive breed. It typically retains the instincts
which would be required for it to survive in Tibet, including canine pack behaviour. In addition, it is one of the few primitive
dog breeds that retains a single oestrus per year instead of two, even at much lower altitudes and in much more temperate
climates than its native climate. Like all flock guardian breeds, they are intelligent and stubborn to a fault, so obedience
training is recommended.

We are a small home hobby breeder, and raise Tibetan Mastiffs, a regal, highly intelligent, devoted
ancient breed. For authoritative information on this breed, visit the website at tibetanmastiffinfo.com. We have a carefully
chosen sire and dam, with excellent bloodlines. Our dam is from Himalaya in Virginia, and our sire is from Cfar in Deming,
WA. Our lives revolve around our dogs on 10 acres near the west end of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. They fill our lives
with love. We own 3 Mastiffs currently with plans to add more to our family in the future. We have had the sire since he was
a puppy; he is now 6 years old. We are very careful when placing puppies....we do the necessary health testing and offer a
health guarantee. We encourage prospective buyers to visit us to learn more about this magnificent Tibetan Mastiff breed. Dan and Tina Smith
