Bernese Mountain Dog
The Bernese Mountain Dog, called in Swiss the Berner Sennenhund, is a large breed of dog from the Swiss
Alps. Originally kept as general farm dogs, large Sennenhunds in the past were also used as draft animals, pulling carts.
The breed was used as an all purpose farm dog, for guarding property and livestock, and for driving cattle in the areas around
Berne.

Our beautiful Berners are bred for companionship, as well as beauty. Our puppies are raised inside
our home, playing and learning at our feet. Puppies are well-socialized, healthy, and under the care of our favorite vet clinic.
Each puppy comes with a guarantee, and lots of love to shower on your family. Be forwarned - Berners are contagious, and likely
to draw lots of attention wherever you go!

My dog breeding is a hobby that extends from my basic love of dogs. I research and agonize over breeding
choices. My puppies are all hand raised inside my home. I do my best to place my puppies in ethical, caring homes and then
I support those homes however I can. I do my best to be sure that none of my puppies are bred irresponsibly. I am committed
to rescue those pups that I produced in my breeding program. Member & Breed Steward BMDCA.org; Member & Webmaster

We breed selectively with longevity, health, and sound orthopedics in mind; as well as paying careful
attention to temperament and the AKC standard for the breed.
