Dachshund

The dachshund is a short-legged, elongated dog breed, of the hound family. The standard size was developed to scent, chase, and flush badgers and other burrow-dwelling animals, while the miniature was developed to hunt smaller prey, like rabbits.  Dachshunds are known for their devotion and loyalty to their owners though they can be standoffish towards strangers.

We are located in the desert of Southeastern Washington - Tri-City Area (Richland, Kennewick, Pasco) With plenty of gophers, jackrabbits, and badgers that Dachshunds were originally bred to hunt! We raise our dogs not for profit but for the pleasure and enjoyment they have brought to not only our family but to other families as well. We are not a kennel our dogs live and play with us in our home. We only breed longhair dachshunds - Black/tans, Reds, Chocolates, and Dapples. We have been raising dachshunds now for about 8 years. Puppies are raised in our home and handled daily for well socialized pets. We are located in Otis Orchards just outside Spokane, WA.
