German Shepherds
The German Shepherd Dog (also known as an Alsatian), is a breed of large-sized dog that originated
in Germany. As part of the Herding group, the German Shepherd is a working dog developed originally for herding
sheep. Because of their strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training they are often employed in police and military
roles.

Here at Von Sudlich Shepherds, we home-raise puppies to be companions and family dogs first.
We know that every puppy can't be a Champion, High in Trial or a Schutzhund 3 so we raise them for the
family in mind. A calm easy-going dog that will lay at your feet by the fire, yet will walk for
miles on a hike with the family or chase the ball endlessly. And they don't have to be champions, they

training and boarding for almost 20 yrs. The dogs are a huge part of our lives. In breeding, our number one priority has always
been temperament, followed by health, trainability, beauty and longevity. Our Shepherds have been seen in the obedience &
conformation ring, serving as service and SAR dogs, babysitters, K-9 work, Schutzhund & therapy work etc. We love this
